I don't have anything agains the clerics in Iran, Iliad. I was there, it is a wonderful country. THe problem is the current election, but it does not stop here: I also fear that Western powers may use this to manipulate Iran, and I will be the first one to raise my voice.
Sorry for my comment on the "macho" issue. You are welcome to post your comment above, but pls don't put your address, as we can start in the blog a fruitless discussion.

Thanks, I appreciate your candor...

You asked if I'm "MACHO" enough to post my comments here...and you took the liberty to do so anyway while I was en route to work. That's fine.

As for the "world we live in..." Yes, it's a horrible world but there is goodness in it... And certainly the world is not according to either your or my perspective alone; there are legitimate and opposing viewpoints, and they must be heard...

While my heart goes out to senseless death, where's the world's outcry when innocent lives are massacred daily in Afghanistan and Iraq and elsewhere?

Does it make any difference whether that life is a young man or a young woman, child of a poor peasant or upper class student?

You must take criticism squarely in the face Paulo, and not have a knee-jerk defensive reaction. You don't like the clerics, but as an independent observer I would like to hear their side as well...

Your work idolizes women and paints a distorted image, and this creates an imbalance and alienates the masculine energy. You would do well to empower both sides deservingly and justly, and not simply pander to a ready and formulaic consumer niche.
