The quickening of battle

The battle quickens:

As you all me may know, for several years now I have been working on the Missing Commandment project, with the Ashleigh’s Vengeance trilogy and the Matrix Mission being aspects of this larger project.   My intention in these projects is to challenge the God of Abraham and Sarah.

Some of the arguments in my case against this deity are to call him to task on:

1.       His jealous demand on Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac
2.       His callous acquiescence in the sacrifice of Job’s children
3.       His cowardly offering of his one and only son to rectify his failure in his own misbegotten creation, humankind.   A true father would have stepped forward and accepted his own failure rather than sacrifice his son on a morbid instrument of torture, the cross.
4.       The list goes on!

The danger:
While Abraham’s God may be flawed, his existence or lack thereof does not negate the existence of sublime mystery beyond the heretofore structure of our individual and collective cognitive faculties.

This is where folks like Obama fail.   While Barack Obama’s erratic and contradictory speeches echo some of the principles dear to my heart, and while he may be oddly and sporadically aligned with some of my mission objectives, at least partially, nevertheless, I cannot discount the fact that he tragically falls short and fails to seize on the opportunity before him.

My contention is that Mr. Obama is an unwitting puppet and is grossly beguiled by his own silver tongue and loquacious rhetoric to know how tragic a character he is.

His stance against the Christian God has obfuscated his character and radicalized his principles to where he has swung to an absurd and contradictory farce on the other end of the pendulum.   Ironically though, this pendulum swings all over the place when it comes to Obama’s position, so now it’s somewhere in the middle!

Anyhow, neither do the reactionary Atheists nor the crumbling institutions of the Theists understand the sanctity and the sublime meaning of the mystery that is the conception and the objective of life as a fundamental paradigm.   It is high time we evolved!

Yet in this vacuum, where are our leaders?   Alas.

Voice of God

So here it goes folks,

While in Dubai I came across this bit of juicy gossip I’d like to share:

A man, sanctioned by Sir Richard Branson, landed a cushy job there in posh Dubai, chatting up the airwaves on Virgin Radio, satirizing to his little heart’s content.

You see, the poor old chap was satirizing Nebraska state senator Ernie Chambers‘ efforts to seek a permanent injunction against God so that he, God, would end “death, destruction and terrorisation” of us humans.

The case was thrown out of court because the defendant had no address, and so legal papers could not be served.

The Virgin Radio talk show host was fired due to massive outcry from his Dubai listeners.

But what about senator Chambers?   How intriguing that he would do that, dontcha thunk? …hmm, so there ARE ragtag souls queuing up for the march, eh? *smiley*

Yep, I am-a-movin’ to Nebraska why the hell not?   I’ve wanted to take the Grand Patriarch to Court myself for a long time now, and I have a smashing posse of scantily-clad angels armed to the denim hem to take him on!

Won’t you join me?

My new 4th bestest friend, Ernie.   The 1st is my boy, the 2nd my puppy, and the 3rd?   You guessed it! Jesus, my beloved buddy wrapped in brilliant myth and the power of his resurrection, the glorious bittersweet cola god that he is!

The Atheist Prophet

A recent discussion with a couple drunk atheists led me to Madalyn Murray O’Hair!

Madalyn was an articulate and intelligent activist. She was also an extremely caustic and acerbic character in the 1970s who managed to remove the compulsory school prayers from the public school systems through her appeal in the Supreme Court.

Now, you must remember that Madalyn held as a fundamental tenet of her belief that she was a total being and had confidence in her fellow man.

While Madalyn lived a confrontational life fueled and tenaciously driven by high-minded bitterness, she was nevertheless brutally murdered over petty theft by a fellow atheist over the assets of her fringe organization.

Her son, whom she used as a symbol of her rage against “Power” and as a weapon to challenge the Baltimore School System, was a “pawn”, to quote him, for her agenda and crusade at a time when he was but a powerless child under her custody.

Later, as an adult, he started an advocacy to counter his mother and disavowed her for robbing him of the power of prayer and the solace of a sacred re-lationship. He became a Christian to find escape from the nightmare of his childhood under his mother.

I can imagine Madalyn existing in a vacuum, as a self-created pointless collection of matter confident in her certainty of her atheistic re-link, or re-ligio, or shall I say de-ligion? The counter-religion of atheism is as dogmatic as its nemesis which it feeds upon.

It’s tragic that this absurd duopoly of the dialectic has completely deformed the syntax and semantics of discourse in this land, creating a disjointed and dysfunctional ouroboros that whirls in a trapped eddy.

Neither the radical liberals nor the reactionary right, nor for that matter the centrist moderates have the answer.   We must evolve to re-enchant our lives…and soon!

…The Atheist Prophet… She fails to question the authority of parents, how expedient of her!   Missing Commandment is indeed where we shall wage the battle.

goD

In a certain city there is a fine line thinner than a few hundred yards between the haves and the have-nots. The poor neighbors have a big sign warning them that they’re under surveillance, and when we drove through their shanties we instilled fear in their minds and dispersed their porch-side conference.

Yeah, a crack house, dealing and wheeling the junk bought north of the divide by the luscious hard-bodies in tight micro minis and Gucci stilettos getting off candy-yellow Corvettes, legs first, with a pause!

But that’s not what struck me! It was this bad-ass goD. No sooner than catching my eye, he altered his course and approached me, lowering his head in mild respect, intently dialoguing, sending chills down my spine and onto my finger poised atop the window remote. He came closer, right up to the passenger door, looking, just looking, and when I looked away, he lowered his head and walked away!

I’m such a tourist, a damn tourist wherever I go! maybe I should just stop and bite the spider? Ha!

Indivisible

At a certain hour, not now, not ever, neither here, nor there, cast adrift in the garden amid the gales swaying enchanted aspens like quills shimmering the writ of whispers untold, I held his hand!a boy, thine hope, mein Gott! A boy, indivisible, divine eternal. We walked along the crimson grove and the silver heather once Vincent’s path.

and so I held my boy’s hand, only carved with five years’ passage — or was it my father holding my hand? — he turned toward me and asked, “but Daddy, what do you mean when you say that you love me more than anything else in the world?”

For isn’t the domain of love infinite, and is every word spoken not a promise eternally ricocheting to the farthest chambers? So speak the truth Dad, and tell me that you are capable, and that you can love not in quantity, but in sacrifice, without prejudice. Stand before me and let the blood coursing through my veins speak to your bones!that I am you and you are me, together we’re eternity, nay, trinity!

I have come before you in the footsteps of Christ, renewed once more as the Son, and the glow of my potential, the homunculus before you, mein Vater, noble alchemist, is thy charge, the pure-essential mandate provident upon thee…

!like an arrow you are my bow, release me as a lance radiant, serve thy universe, and thy vow on that frigid day!

What would you’ve answered to that question? I looked at him, and felt humbled. I had nothing to say! He waited patiently, and when I finally answered, he smiled.
